House Resolution Would Open Up U.S. To Democratic Dictatorship

A series of insane pieces of legislation are being introduced by the Democratic lead Congress that has the potential to seriously undermine any freedom and liberty that is left in this country. One such piece of legislation is House Joint Resolution 5 which calls for the abolition of the Twenty-Second Amendment which places a limitation on the amount of terms a President can serve. This Amendment was passed after FDR decided to run for additional terms beyond a second, breaking from traditional precedent. If House Joint Resolution 5 is successfully approved by two-thirds of the U.S. House and ratified by three-fourths of the state legislatures, we would essentially have a democratic dictatorship in this country. The elections are completely staged in this country with unsecured electronic voting machines and the mass media mind control apparatus brainwashing people to vote for establishment candidates that will do the bidding of Israel, rich bankers and the military industrial complex.

Below is taken from the first section of the Twenty-Second Amendment.

Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

As stated in the Twenty-Second Amendment, it is designed to prohibit someone from holding the office of President for any longer than eight years. George Washington the first President of the United States stayed in office for two-terms and other founding fathers like Thomas Jefferson agreed that Presidents should serve no more than two terms. Even though there was no amendment at that time prohibiting Presidents from running for a third term, it was a principle that was set in place by the founding fathers. This is why it is disturbing that there is a continued attempt to abolish the Twenty-Second Amendment. This is not the first time that a member of Congress has attempted to get legislation pushed through to abolish the Twenty-Second Amendment with creatures like Harry Reid and Barney Frank making previous attempts to do so.

Below is the full text of House Joint Resolution 5 as proposed by Representative Jose Serrano (D-NY).

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each House concurring therein), That the following article is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years after the date of its submission for ratification:

‘The twenty-second article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.’.

If the Twenty-Second Amendment is abolished, the United States could easily become a full out dictatorship. There are already many questions about Barack Obama’s eligibility to be the President due to the birth certificate controversy but the U.S. Supreme Court and the corporate controlled media don’t seem to really think it is important to look into. So with that in mind, as well as the staged farce of elections that are currently held in this country, the Twenty-Second Amendment serves as a firewall to prevent someone from holding the office of President for long periods of time and in essence becoming a dictator.

As power is becoming increasingly more centralized in an ever stronger executive branch, it is important to have presidential term limits. At the very least, the establishment has to give us the illusion of a change even if there isn’t any real substantive difference between the two major political parties. It makes their life a bit more difficult to control the system, and that’s why the Twenty-Second Amendment needs to stay in place.
